We will attempt to bring honor to God, to make disciples of Jesus by encouraging individuals and families to enjoy and appreciate His creation and creatures along the Little Pee Dee River basin in Marion County, SC. We will offer a quiet, awe-inspiring, exciting, yet safe adventure on the river by kayak/canoe by day and a primitive, yet comfortable camping experience overnight.
What's Available?
Products/Services
Kayak and Canoe Rentals with personal flotation devices, emergency equipment, paddling instruction, and transportation of equipment to and from landing sites.
Primitive campsites with hand-pumped water, clean outhouses, firewood, and easy pop-up tents if needed.
Guided river tours to learn more about local history, plants and animals of the black water ecosystem.
Guided nature walks near the campsites to learn more about the herbs, berries, trees and critters you will see and hear while cooking and camping.
For those not seeking a tent or hammock camping experience, lodging in the log cabin (built by me “Skip”) is available.
